The story revolves around a 16-year-old boy named Pisin Molitor Patel. His name is Pisin, but everyone calls him "Pai". His father has a small zoo. Their father decides to take the animals and go to Canada. They are going on a ship owned by a Japanese company. While traveling to Canada with the family, they get caught in a storm and the ship goes down. Somehow, everyone on the ship dies and Pai climbs into a lifeboat and barely saves his life. Now only four animals are left with Pai. Those animals The four people are a zebra, an orangutan, a leopard and a terrible Bengali tiger named Richard Parker. In the end, only one animal remains among these four animals, which is the terrible tiger named Richard Parker. Now Pai has to live with a terrible Bengali tiger. How will Pai protect his life from this fierce tiger?
